Gaming Headsets

I just looked a little more in depth with the Tritton gaming headsets(http://www.trittontechnologies.com/#) and it turns out they have some good reviews. They have a turtle beach x1 equivalent, but they also have some higher end headsets. The are a hell of a lot cheaper than the Astros, and the X41′s. They have seperate adjustment for the voice volume and the game volume, Dolby Digital 5.1 SS and a couple a other features. All in all, if Brad if you wanted get the Astros or X41′s you can, this is a cheaper alternative I wanted to get out there. There have been some people who have said the Trittons sound way better than other brands. My headset has a minor problem… where it plugs into the controller it is really touchy, and likes to unplug and replug itself back in every once in a while. I think its kinda like the Beaches popping problem.
To me the trittons look cheaply made. And they just look so big and boxy. Ive heard they are a decent headset for the price but not the best. the x41′s are the best wireless you can get but the best for audio and accuracy is the a40′s from astro gaming. They are the MLG supported headsets and just get great reviews. Not saying the trittons arent good but im going to get myself the best if im dropping this much cash.
yeah i understand completely, i just thought they might be a big money saving alternative, i actually wasn’t really expecting anyone to actually consider the trittons, unless they didn’t want to throw down 200+ $$. I know if I were able to spend that much i would definetly get the a40′s. Plus you get a carrying case and shit like that with the astros. right?
yeah you do. Their downside is not being wireless however not being wireless, you wont have the popping sounds or the interference like you do with the x41′s or what have you.
… and you probably don’t have to change batteries every 8 hours like me.
