Practice
Last Updated on Saturday, 2 January 2009 01:48 Written by BOM The Hustler Wednesday, 30 December 2009 05:41
We will be having practice tonight around 9pm central or 10pm eastern. If we have 8 or more guys we will run some private search and destroy matches to work on our gamebattle strategies as the current season is closing so we can be ready for the spring season. If we have 6 we will look at doing some hardcore search online.
Just so everybody knows we will be using and finding matches with the following settings so it would be best to practice with these…
Hardcore Search & Destroy, Radar off, killstreaks enabled, perks enabled, no grenade launchers, claymores enabled, c4 enabled, at4-hs disabled, thumper disabled, javelin disabled, rpg-7 disabled, shotguns enabled, tactical insertion disabled, 3rd person disabled.
This will be what we are looking for so please setup classes accordingly.

We have pretty much merged with another clan and they will be carrying the recruit take until we make our final decision on whether they stay or not. Please add…Lightning WY 5, SnowStorm WY, Static Cloud X, Thunder WY 31. They are friends with Shon4Star and are good players that we hope will stick around. We also have a few others who may become recruits so make them feel welcome.

Last night we were doing some care package drops in a private match, and recording what we get out of them.
I recorded 60 last night and i will keep a running total, but heres what we have so far.
UAV – 10 – 17%
Counter UAV – 10 – 17%
Harrior Strike – 10 – 17%
Predator – 9 – 15%
Precision Airstrike – 6 – 10%
Attack Helicopter – 6 – 10%
Stealth Bomber – 3 – 5%
Ammo – 2 – 3%
Chopper Gunner – 2 – 3%
Sentry – 1 – 2%
AC130 – 1 – 2%
I found this very interesting i thought there would be less harriors and more ammo crates. Like i said this is a running total and i will update these numbers.
Learn MorePretty Crazy Xmas Light setup w/Guitar Hero

Quoted from the original news article..
Learn MoreSick of those geeky Christmas light displays choreographed to Manheim Steamroller? Wanna see what happens when you combine twinkle lights, Guitar Hero, and a ridiculous amount of time and effort?
According to Cnet, former Disney special effects guru Ric Turner has taken front yard Christmas light extravaganzas to a mesmerizing new level. Using a Nintendo Wii and few high tech lighting controllers from Light-O-rama, Ric has rigged up his very own neighbor-terrorizing, virtual guitar challenge: Christmas Light Hero.
Set to the tune of Eric Johnson’s “Cliffs of Dover,” this LED sorcerer has transfixed over a hundred thousand viewers on YouTube (which aside from visiting this guy’s house, is the best way to appreciate Christmas Light Hero) in only a few days.
Reportedly, Turner found a way to plug his trusty Nintendo Wii into the inputs of these magical lighting controllers, which in turn allowed him to convert his 21,268 lights into a playable (albeit highly challenging) version of the insanely popular video game. No kidding.
Challengers can step up to the guitar and attempt to shred while looking at nothing but the lights on Turner’s garage door. The game is apparently set to “easy,” but of course the Christmas light graphics are a bit more difficult to interpret.
An optional TV screen is available for those who need it. However, if you use the screen you’re disqualified from the list of high scores and will never be remembered in the Christmas Light Hero hall of fame. Thus far, no one has made it through the entire Eric Johnson wail-a-thon error free.
Could you put your neighbors’ uninspired Christmas decorations to shame with a similar interactive lighting display? Obviously it takes some expertise … and a lot of guess work. According to Turner’s interview with Make Online, “If the game and the lighting sequences start together, they will stay in very good sync through the length of the song … I have some ideas to automate the initial show/game sync, but for now you have to push doorbell buttons at the right moments.”
For those of you out there wondering if this was some kind of viral marketing campaign, this guy doesn’t appear to have any relation to Activision (the game company that created Guitar Hero). Will he be forced to develop a relationship with Activision’s copyright attorneys? Let’s hope not.
As long as he’s not charging admission, I bet he’s OK. In fact, he probably should get paid for the free advertising.
Unlimited Ammo COD:MW2 Glitch

So we got setup in this game last night…it was Shady, Veedub and myself. Get in and instantly there are hundreds of tubes flying at us. We are like WTF so we all equip our noob tube class and just see what happens. You would just hold donw the trigger and fire away. It worked with any gun too so unlimited m4 ammo without having to reload. I took a video with my phone quick but its terrible quality but you get the picture…

Learn MoreReview: TurtleBeach X41 Gaming Headset
Last Updated on Sunday, 6 December 2009 02:41 Written by Chris Sunday, 6 December 2009 02:39
First Impressions:
- - Damn they ship fast.
- - Optical setup is sweet… I’ve never used one before, so I didn’t know to take the little clear caps off the ends of the optical wire and thought I had broken it when the cap came off in the XBOX cable :X But I figured it out after I read the directions.
- - I wasn’t prepared for the occasional popping that apparent comes with having a wireless headset. I’m considering moving a lot of stuff around to give the transmitter some more [emf] room.
- - 7.1 Surround is hot. I do believe it’s simulated, but it’s very accurate. I was using a 2.1 setup with simulated 5.1 before and it was nice… but this kind of in your face 3d audio is crazy. For the first few days, I kept thinking someone was at my door when something would fall behind me in MW2 or something… Love it.
I’ve had the headset for a week now. The popping hasn’t really stopped, but I’ve figured out how to avoid it a little. It’s just something you have to get used to I guess. Batteries last 3-4 days of playing… I’d say about 20 hours of playtime. Sucks they don’t include a wire to avoid using batteries all together if you wanted…
You can really hear everything. So many subtle sounds I’ve never heard before; even in the developer intro screens. I think Infinity Ward went with a less complex sound setup this time because people 150 feet away sound just as loud as people right next to me sometimes. It’s strange, but I’m pretty sure COD 4/5 had better 3d audio programming than MW2. But I digress.
Occasionally there will be a pop and voice chat will drop off to a minimal noise and I’ll begin to echo everyone else’s communication. I have to reach up to the headset where the voice-comm plug is and twist it until it pops again or until I stop echoing. I don’t understand why this happens, but it sounds like it happens to everyone. It’s really disturbing that TurtleBeach didn’t fix such a prevalent problem sooner… or ever… or even mention it or why it happens. I assume it has to do with the circular mic setup that allows you to hear yourself talking. Who knows.
Overall I consider them a good buy. A great buy with the “GET MADE” code. I can handle the popping and echoing… it’s easy to fix once you get used to it. Sucks to have to get used to it. I give them a 4/5. Only lost a point for poppin’!
